Identifying Characteristics

Low trailing shrub forming a ground-hugging mat up to 10 cm tall and 1 m wide. Leaves wedge-shaped, glossy, dark green, to 2 cm long and 8 mm wide. Flowers small with yellow, orange, red or pink petals. Flowers in spring.

Distinctive Features

Low spreading shrub with leaves that have up to four teeth at their tips.
