Identifying Characteristics

An erect or spreading herb to 1 m. Dark green or purple green with simple hairs and a lack of prickles. Leaves ovate to 13 cm long and 7 cm wide. Each inflorescence has 4-12 white flowers, mainly in spring and summer.

Distinctive Features

Characterised by a lack of prickles and the presence of stellate (star-shaped) hairs.
