Identifying Characteristics

Herb to 40 cm. The leaves and lower part of the inflorescence stalk is covered with hairs. The leaves form a basal rosette. Yellow flowers from August-February.

Distinctive Features

The lobes of the leaves are triangular. The yellow flower heads are nodding until they mature. The leaf and stem hairs are minutely forked at their tips.
