Identifying Characteristics

Small herb to 15 cm tall, with rhizomes to 30 cm long. Leaves are erect linear-narrow, 3-10 cm long and 1-4 mm wide that emerge out of the water. Small white flowers are arranged in clusters and held on long erect stalks. Flowers November-March.
