Identifying Characteristics

Erect slender unbranching herb to 50 cm tall. Leaves narrow, up to 20 cm long, greyish-green on the upper surface and whitish underneath. Small brown flowers are held in clusters at the ends of stems. Flowers August-November.

Distinctive Features

Grey-brown globular flower heads up to 20 mm wide.
