Identifying Characteristics

An erect shrub to 3 m. Stems are green, and covered in soft short hairs, becoming hairless with age. Leaves, 1-2 cm long, are green and have three narrow oval leaflets. Flowers are yellow in groups of 3-9. Flowers spring and summer. Pods are 2-3 cm long, tough and hard.
