Identifying Characteristics

Herb to 25 cm. Densely haired stems with tiny recurved hairs and few longer spreading hairs. Rounded leaves with 5-7 trifid lobes. Large pink to white solitary or paired flowers, often with darker veins, 18-22 mm diameter. Flowers in April.
