Identifying Characteristics

A small carnivorous herb 8-30 cm tall, with creeping stems. Leaves are linear and 0.5-2.5 cm in length. Flowers are mauve to purple with yellow throats, 2 cm in width. Flowers are held on tall erect stalks. Flowers October-January.
