Identifying Characteristics

A medium sized tree growing between 9-15 m tall. Straight trunk with dark, furrowed bark. Ascending branchlets approximately 40 cm long. Flowers in spring.

Distinctive Features

Many segments along each branch each ending in a whorl of teeth.
