Identifying Characteristics

An erect herb to 1 m. Leaves linear to ovate up to 4 cm long and 7 mm wide and variously toothed. White or purplish-pink flowers to 13 mm long. Flowers November-March.

Distinctive Features

Leaves opposite on lower stems and alternate near inflorescences.
