Identifying Characteristics

Erect shrub or small tree growing between 2-5 m tall. Linear to linear-lanceolate leaves. Upper leaf surface is green in colour and the lower leaf surface is white to creamy-white. Broad, flat terminal clusters of white daisy-like flower heads. There are 80-300 flower heads in each inflorescence. Flowers from November-February.

Distinctive Features

Yellow-green bracts surround the buds before they open.
